What discipline to keep the mileage so low..I'm sure $kay would add some miles very quickly!

Oh, geez! *sigh* *drool* Only 2047 miles. I certainly hope that whoever buys this beautiful vehicle will drive it. It was made to drive.

I'VE SEEN THIS CAR! This has been on display at the St. Charles (IL) Ford dealership! My g/f bought her C-Max from there, and I drooled at it each time we went in.
It's really fitting the car is being sold by Mecum because the venue is 1-2mi away from the dealership. They can drive it there!

I wonder if they take trade-ins?

Indeed! I would gladly empty my bank account driving one across the Rockies.

"Sigh". But my fondest memory is sitting in a GT-40 back in 1968 when it was on display at a Ford dealer 3 blocks from my high school. I went in there so many times to eyeball the new cars that they got to know me. Zit faced kid, but potential customer down the road.

We can dream, can't we?

Wow..sitting in a new GT40 must have been quite the experience. The closest cool car dealer to me is a Rolls/Aston/Bentley/Lamborghini dealer about 30 minutes. Being 15, I have a feeling I would get kicked out pretty quick:( But whenever I take my dog for a walk, I look out for cool cars in my neighborhood. They are much more receptive! My favorite memory is making my mom stop the car on the way to a wedding because I saw a Cord 812. The guy let me sit in it and we've become friends! Even if the dealers won't feed my love of cars, the local car guys sure can come through!

Would be cooler if it was a 2005 mile Ford GT.

That would be pretty ironic..but then you wouldn't want to drive it. Cause then..y'know..it wouldn't have 2005 miles anymore..

If I didn't have to get ready for work, I'd fire up FM4 right now. :-)

that's cute; how about an unregistered one with only 1.9 miles?

Wow! 2 miles....it kind of makes me feel bad- like $kay said, it was meant to be driven. I can only imagine what that would go for in 30 years with 2 miles..

True. Maybe the seller bought it at 2005 miles and then thought "fuck it".
